An Economics Graduate from St.Xaviers Mumbai(1995),she studied studio pottery and ceramic sculpture(1996-1999) under the guidance of her Guru, Shri Bal Wad at Creative Club.

She believes a study of art is an experimentation with the medium , a discovery of inner potential, and the exploration of ideas which then culminates in creating the final artwork. With these goals in mind she has participated in various workshops conducted by Indian and international ceramic artists to deepen her technical skills, and exhibiting in Solo and  group shows has helped her to share her artwork with art enthusiasts. 

She  began her teaching journey in 1998 with ‘Satsun’, children’s studio at Creative Club. Over the years she has conducted ceramic workshops for several educational institutes for varied age groups. She was a visiting faculty at Rewachand Bhojwani Academy (2000-2004) for teaching and developing the art curriculum of the school. 

Since 2004 she has been a mentor to both children and adults at Creative Club Studio. At present besides teaching, she is on the organising committees of artist groups such as Pune Ceramic Artists and Art Mandai Pune, whilst simultaneously continuing her artistic journey with the medium of clay.
